came and defeated the WCHS team
with a score of 37 to 40. We under-
stand it was a very interesting game.
Misses Virginia Burns, Dorothy
Morgan and Joan and Donald Kunda
are among the students who are
coming home for the holidays.
Mr. and lIrs. L. C. Faltermeyer,
Mrs. Virgil Cowee and Mr. and Mrs.
E. D. Welliver autoed to Miles City
Friday, where Mr. Faltermeyer went
for a checkup at the hospital.

Glendive Saturday, and also did some
shopping.

Moore, Bill Bushman and Vincent
Piesik were among those who recently
went to Helena to complete their en-
listment in the U. S. Navy.
Philip Parker arrived Satu
from Oklahoma City to spend a ten
day furlough with his father. Frank
Parker, and other relatives and
friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Welsh came
from Forsyth and spent the week at
the N. Scabad home in Glendive,
coming to Wibaux Monday morning.
They were business visitors in Beach
in the afternoon.
They report a very fine program.
Miss Exie Polen accompanied the
Norman Nellermoe family to Beach
on Saturday. December 12. She spent
the weekend at her parental home
in Wibaux and returned to Trotters
with the mail man on Monday. Mrs.
P. V. Moore taught school for her on

A large crowd attended church

preached a fine Christmas sermon.

The Kermeys wish to express their

gifts of food for Christmas.
A fair sized crowd attended the
program at the Trotters school on
Friday evening. The program of
Christmas songs, recitations and plays
was well presented, and was enjoyed
by an who attended. After the pro-
gram, gifts were distributed, and gen-
erous treats of candy, nuts and ap-
ples were given to all by the teacher.
Miss Polen. The tree was beautifully
decorated and it was quite unusual
to see a tree out here electrically
lighted. The lights belonged to John
Nellermoe. After the folks enjoyed
some time in social chat, they depart-
ed for their homes, wishing everyone
a Merry Christmas,

a patient in the Holy Rosary hospital.

Corporal Leslie McClenahan of the
field artillery at Fort Sill, Oklahoma,
came home from camp to be with
his father, who resides north of
Beach, for the holiday season.
Eddie Vukelic came home from
Regent to be with parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Vukellc, for the Christmas holi-
days. He returned to his work in
the First State Bank at that place.
Lt. Violet Severson left Friday eve-
nlng to return o her duties as U. S.
Army nurse in Alaska. after spending
a couple of weeks with her parents
north of Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Clark received
word from their son ,Lyle that he has
received a promotion from Pfc. to
corporal in the signal corps, in some
foreign port.
T. B. LaSalle had a nice Christmas
gift in the way of a trip down to the
old home place at Witchita, Kansas,
and over to Joplin, Missouri with
other relatives.
Mr, and Mrs. W. D. Schulz enter-
tained Christmas Eve and Christmas
day dinner for their immediate fam-
ilies, the Schulz, Sr. and Frank Huber
families.
Mrs. L. J. Alguire was hostess to a
1:30 dinner for the Christmas party
of the P. E. O. The regular meet-
ing was preceded by the annual ex-
change of gifts. Everyone reported
a very enioyable afternoon.
