P i HURSDAY. SEPTEMBER 20, 1934 WIBAUX GIRL SCOUTS 'The Girl Scouts met on Thursday last with an attendance of la. We divided our members into two pa- trols with Victoria Stefanowski and Lilllan Riley as leaders and Maxtne Riley and Jacequeline Riley as as- sistant leaders. The members of Victoria's patrol ~tre: Maxine Riley, Geraldine Paul- son, Nellie Ewalt, Maxine Bell. Charlotte Rimel and Exie Polen. Members of Lillian's troop are: Jac- queline Riley, Ruth Remillard, Ger- trude Stefanowski, Margaret Losin- ski, Margaret Lynch and Alyce O'Connor. Mrs. Louise Bilyen came in from the ranch Wednesday to spend a few days with her daughters, Mrs. Hazelwood and Mrs. Kirman. Rae Samson who is employed as cashier in the Dawson cafe in Glen- dive, visited with his mother Tues- day. Mrs. Wallace SCOtt substituted for Miss Florence Larson, the 3rd and 4th grade teacher, twb days last week, while Miss Larson was absent on account of illness. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Welsh and sons, Don and Russell departed last Wedr~esday for Di!lov. Mont.. to vis- it with Mrs. Welsh's sister, Mrs. Maude Hubbard. They will also sFe::~d a few days in Yellowstone park. Rev. and Mrs. Ponath Norton and a Skaar orchestra furnished the mu- sic. Miss Virginia Bailey was the guest last week of her sister, Mrs. Curtis Ball of Sidney. Mr. and Mrs. Win, Welsh and daughter, Mrs, Lorraine Porter, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Oh~tad and Mrs. Owen Ohnstad were among the WI- baux people who attended the Van After sale at Beach Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Patoezyk and children have returned from Wyo., where Mr. Rataezyk has been em- ployed the past two months. Jim Anglemeyer son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Anglemeyer, departed on Sunday for Helena to enter the In- ternational State college.
