Sunday Charles Marman left for
I3illings, where he will enroll in a
business college.
The Garden club held a meeting at
the court house last Thursday; eve-

Glendive visitors Friday included Mr.
and Mrs. Ben Thompson, Mr. and Mrs.
Qoodwin Thompson, Douglas and Don-
ald Evans, Mr. and Mrs. I~ndal
Thompson, Miss Dolly Gas, Mrs. Min-
l~ie Smith, Mrs. Nettie Heath, and
Miss Lillian Sherman.
Young Jimmy Doerner, who broke
his leg last winter and has been in
a wheel chair and on crutches almost
continually, last Friday was able to
Walk alone, and the young man cer-
tainly feels a lot better now.

flays visiting relatives and friends and

Friday Glendon Carlson returned
home from his work which has taken
him all around the state in the past
/ew months. He intends to visit here
about a week with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. W. L. Carlson, and then plans to
~o to Mobridge, after which he will go
to Idal~o to work.
Saturday Miss Ruth Hartse left for

Mrs. Arrnentrout and daughter Jean

Monday Miss Frances Zeilsdorf, who
is employed in the county agent's
office, began her vacation.

ham drove to Glendive Monday.
Monday E. M. Enderle and Mr. and
Mrs. Wayne Smith and son Donald

O. A. Olive of Cartwright, N. D., an
uncle to Mrs. S. R. Bryant, spent a few
days here the past week, returning to
his home Tuesday

field for a couple of days,
Hector Cameron began work at the
Red Owl store last Saturday.
ThUrsday Mrs. Guerdon Alguire
went to Dickinson where she will visit
her mother a few days.
Clarence Knezevich is now employed
in the county agent's office.
Mrs. J. P. Sorensen returned Friday
from a trip to Helena and Missoula.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stockwell and
family returned from the Black Hills
Saturday after a week's vacation.
Regular meetings of the local Mas-
onic lodge were resumed Tuesday night
after having been a~journ~d for the
summer months.
Dessert bridge club met at Mrs. E.
F. Cook's last Thursday afternoon. A
shower honoring Mrs. Marvin Tobias
was held and a handkerchief shower
for Irene Hudson were highlights of
the gathering.
Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Robert A1-
guire left for Bellingham, Washington,
where they intend to spend the wint-
er.
The Methodist ladies aid are making
plans for their annual chicken pie
supper to be held on October 6th this
year. according to present plans.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kukowski are
the parents of a baby boy, born to
them Saturday morning at the Willis
Wallace home.
Mr. and Mrs. Jess Still, gccompan-
ied by Shirley Woodhull and three of
the Sites children, left Thursday for
Bellingham, Washington.
