Thursday night Mrs. Eline Ellason
and daughter Hilda returned from a
pleasant summer's vacation, which
took them to various points in Minne-
sota, Iowa. Illinois and Wisconsin.
They report that they s~w many former
Beach people and had a very enjoy-
abue summer all around.
Saturday Mrs. Frank Maney and son
Roy, Margaret Hardy and Donald En-
derle drove to St. Cloud, Minnesota,
returning here Tuesday.
Miss Ida Hal#he was in attendance
at the Sidney fair from Sunday to
Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lemire of St. Paul
arrived here last Sunday to visit Mr.
and Mrs. I~wrence Lemire and other
relatives for a few weeks. From here
they went on to Deer Lodge, Montana,
for a few days visit.

Mr. and Mrs, Stanley Kwako are the
parents of a baby boy born last Thurs-
day at the St. AleXiUS hospital in ]Bis-
marck. Mrs. Kwako is well known
here as the former Emma Llevens.
Mr. and Mrs. A1 Kuhfeld of Bismarck
spent the weekend here visiting friends.
They were accompanied home by Mrs,
Ruby Ktpp and Miss Theresa IAever~.
Clarence Kenezvich and Donald
Miller were Thursday afternoon visitors
in Sentinel Butte•
Donald Miller left Friday night for
Seattle, Washinston, after spending a
week here visiting his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Marshal Miller and family. Don-
ald has been employed In Seattle for
the past year or so and reports that
he likes it very well out there.
Mrs, Art Blrzicott of Oakland, Cal.,
was here Saturday and visited with
Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Clark while enroute
to Des Moines. Iowa.
Last Tuesday afternoon the members
of the local Social Hour club enjoyed
their annual picnic at the home of Mrs.

Mrs. E: F. Cook will entertain the So-
cial Hour at her home on next Tuesday,
Septelnber 6th.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wall and son Jim-

enployed in the Wall Drug during their
absence, left the following day for Far-

Leo Kremers of Golva was in last
week and reported .that he had a close
call when a pitch fork caught on a
drive belt, when he was working at the
Ed Kremers farm. He was struck in
the hip.
Mr. and Mrs. Patti Lebo and family
of Medora stopped in Beach on Wed-
nesday while enroute home from Crane,
Montana. where they had been visit-

Mr. and Mrs. N. I• Waldal of Sentin-
el Butte and Mrs. Vincent Volesky were

Mr~ O. R. Niece and Mrs. Sammy
Samsel of Baker visited in Glendive
last Wednesday afternoon.
Mrs. Willis Wallace returned to
Beach the first of the week from
Olendtve after a short visit there,

ed Wednesday from their recent trip
to Iowa, and on Thursday Mrs. Samsel
and family went on to their home in
Butte. Montana.
