Biography:
K)4e Busch joined Henddck Motorsports o~ Feb.
4, 2003 and found success on the track almost
immediat~y. He won his first Automob~ Qub of
Amedca race at Nashv~le Speedway from the
p~e position, and followed up ~th a second v~n
at Kentucky Speedway in the very next ou0ng.
That same year he entered seven NASCAR
Busch Sedes, earning a runner-up finish at
Lowe's Motor Speedway in his first stad. In late
2004, K~4e Busch was selected by Hsnddck
Motomports to re~ace raring veteran and two-
Ume Winston Cup champk)nship ~nner Tarry
Labonte in the famed No. 5 Kellogg's Chevro~t
for 2005 and beyond. In 2005, Busch had
already clinched the 2005 NASCAR NEXTEL
Cup Rookie of the Year ti6e before the end of the
season. He won his first Cup race at the Sony
HD 500 at California Speedway in Fontana,
California in September 2005, and is the
youngest-ever winner in NASCAR's highest
lev~ of compe~tion at 20 years, 125 days.
The 2007 NASCAR Next~ Cup schedule has
been rek~asad ~th on~ a couple of minor date
changes and no tracks losing or gaining any
dates. The 36-race schedule will stad as usu=d at
Daytona on February 18th and condude exac~y
nine months later at the Homestead-Miami
Speedway. The same ten races will make up the
end of season cham~o~ship chase ~th the main
news b~ng the shifdng of the annu~ stop to the
Indianap~is Motor Speedway to the end of July as
opposed to the beginning of August.

guests watched as Jeff Gordon won the
500-mile race. Four-time NEXTEL Cup Series Champion
Jeff Gordon holds numerous California Speedway
records, including the best average finishing position.
Gordon is also the only driver to finish all miles in seven
of the nine races entered. The California Speedway
stands on the historic site of the former Kaiser Steel Mill.
The speedway stretches across 568 acres, including 131
acres in the Infield and a 30-acre parking lot.

on Saturday night at Bdstol Motor Speedway. He also
held off a herd-charging Kyte Busch to capture his fourth
NEXTEL Cup win this season. I:)ala Eamhardt Jr was
third and four-tiros champion Godon finished fifth. Rookie
sensation Denny Hardin finished sixth. Points

Jimrde Johnson ended up 10th. Kenseth drew within
seven points of Johnson and joined him in clinching
spot in the season-~ending Chasa for the Nexte~ Cup. The
Sharpie 500 was punctuated by 14 caution flags.
