Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fischer and son Mrs. George Hammond, Mr. and Mrs. Icarl and little Loretta were six o'clock L. E. Curl and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Me- dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Manigal brought ice cream and cake to Gamroth. They enjoyed a fine chicken the home of Mrs. Bertha Johnson Sun- fry. day and helped celebrate her birthday. A birthday surprised was given to Lewie Fasching Tuesday evening after strenuous work of one of the party to get the l~sching family home. The evening was spent with visiting and playing whist• Those present were Mr. and Mrs. John Tschida, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Scheffer, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schouboe, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Kreit- inger and Mr. and Mrs. Frank David- ~on. Delicious ice cream, cake and sandwiches and salad were served at the close of a pleasant evening. Many wishes for happy returns of the day were extepded Mr. Fasching. Miss J~een Hanson and Miss Helen Colstad 0f Steele and Elaine and John Mrs. W. W. Page was guest of Mrs. Hi Blair Saturday returning to Golva in the evening. L. D. Page was also a six o'cl(~ck guests at the Blair home. Mrs. l~obert Menke was a visitor Saturday. The ~eek old clfffid of Mr. and Mrs. Delphlne Bart~ died and funeral ser- vices were held in Golva Monday at St. Marys c~hurch. The baby died of jaundice so it is reported. Symphaty is extended to the relatives. Miss Ethel Raisler was an overnight visitor at the Homer Madison home on Thursday evening.
