for the purpose of negotiations and the
Master Agreement.

M/S Obrigewitch/Steffan to approve
-the agenda. Motion was approved

The 2013-14 negotiateiJ Master
Agreement was reviewed.
M/S Krebs/Obrigewitch to approve
the 2013-2014 negotiated Master
Agreement and to issue teacher con-
tracts.

minutes of the May ,9, 2013, regular
school board meeting. Motion carried
unanimously.
.M/S Krebs/Steffan to approve the
agenda With additions of 1. Authorizing •
,Mr. Wade Northrop to sign checks as of
July 1, 2013; 2. To name Supt. Wade
Northrop as Title I, II and Title REAP
representative. Motion carried unani-
mously•
Krebs asked about a new flag pole
and Supt. Remington indicated it would
be put up.
Supt. Remington presented the'
board financial reports.
M/S Steffan/Krebs to transfer money
within the Activities Fund to ze[o out the
sports accounts with any extra funds
being placed in the activity general fund
(017). Motion carried unanimously.
M/S Krebs/Obrigewitch to transfer
$30,000 from the General Fund to the
Hot Lunch Fund. Motion carried unan-
imously.
Supt. Remingtofi reported that the
music position has been ill•led and that
the sixth grade and kindergarten posi-
tions have been filled. The junior and
high school science positions remain
open. He also reported on.the status of
several summer projects that are in
process•
Procive gave a report on the status
of the RACTC organization and past out
sfieets of information for the board
members to read.
Krebs reported on the last RESP
meeting.

Procive reported that negotiations
were going quite well. They are nego-
tiating a one year contract with the
teachers and that the next regular ne-
gotiations will be held at 8:00 a.m. on
Wednesday, June 12, 2013
M/S Steffan/Krebs to approve the
schedule of regular school board meet-
ings as presented for the 2013-2014
school year. Motion carried unani-
mously.
M/S Krebs/Steffan to approve the
2012-13 membership report as pre-
;sented. Motion carried unanimously.
M/S Obrigewitch/Krebsto' approve
the 2012=13 transportation report as
presented. Motion carried unani-
mously.
M/S Steffan/Obrigewitch to author-
ize Mr. Wade Northrop to sign checks
for the district as of July 1, 2013# Mo-
tion carried unanimously.
M/S Krebs/Obrigewitch to designate
Mr. Wade Northrop as the official Title
representative as of July 1,2013.
After a canvass of the election re-
sults Steffan made a motion/seconded
by Obrigewitch to declare Anthony
Krebs and Edward Procive as duly
elected for three year terms on the
Belfield Public School bord. MotiQn
carried unanimously.
The next meeting is' scheduled for
Thursday, July 11, 2013, 7:00 pm.

Reorganization of the board: Supt.
Northrop called for nomination for board
chair. Krebs nominated Edward Pro-
cive. M/S Steffan/Obrigewitch to cease
nominations and cast a unanimous vote
for Edward Procive for board chair. Mo-
tion carried unanimously. Procive
called for nominations for board vice-
chair three times. Steffan nominated
Anthony Krebs. M/S Steffan/Obrige-
witch to cease nominations and to cast
a unanimous vote for Anthony Krebs for
vice chair. Motion carried unanimously.
Elem. Prin. Lorge noted she has at-
tended workshops on Bullying, Drug &
Alcohol and gang activities and she will
be attending the administrators inser-
vice. She noted Ericka Hutzenbiler has
been hired for the kindergarten position
and Elaine Johnson will be her mentor.
HS Prin. Lamprecht noted that he
was completing Drivers Education and
will also be attending the administrators
inservice.
The business manager presented
the financial• reports for June 2013.
Supt. Northrop noted he had visited
with the Park Board and has an agree-
ment to use the baseball field for foot-
ball practice. He discussed a junior
high position, high school and junior
high school schedules, ITV classes,
campers parked at the football field,
new locks for the buildings and the
apartment the school rents. He noted
that Jacob Keck has.been hired for sci-
ence.
Procive gave a report on the
RACTC meeting.
Bus contracts were moved up on the
agenda• After discussion M/S
Krebs/Obrigewitch to offer Kenneth
Hutzenbiler a bus contract at $2.25 a
mile with a fuel base of $3.90. All other
items will remain the same as ast
years. Motion carried unanimously.
M/S Steffan/Krebs to approve pay-
ment of the bills. Motion carried unani-
mously.

After discussing the 2013-14 Tax
Levy M/S Krebs/Obrigewitch to approve
the 2013-14 Tax Levy. Motion carried
unanimously.
The board set the 2013 Patron Tax
meeting for August 8th at 6:30 p.m. in
the school library.
M/S Steffan/Krebs to designate the
Billings County Pioneer as the official
newspaper• Motion carried unani-
mously.
M/S Steffan/Obrigewitch to desig-
nate Great Plains National bank as the
official bank. Motion carried unani-
mously.
M/S Krebs/Obrigewitch to approve
the superintendent as the food service
officer. Motion carried unanimously

ing negotiating teacher contracts for the
upcoming school year.
Darla Maus presented reasons to in-
crease base salary and asked the
board to increase the base salary t6
$34,000 and increase compensation for
additional classroom assignment of
three grade levels in one classroom to
$7,500. Discussion.
Board offered teachers $31,000 on
base and $5,000 for the additional
classroom assignment of three grades
per classroom. Teachers withdrew from
room at 6:50 p.m.

Teachers returned.
Teachers will accept the $5,000 for
the extra grade if board goes to
$32,000 on base. Discussion. Teachers
withdrew.
Board agreed to pay $5,000 on extra
grads in classroom.

$32,000 on base and $5,000 for extra
grade in classroom.
Teachers accepted board's offer of

day - $10 will be paid on the first day of
school; 5.

ing. Board discussion ensued• Teach-
ers returned.

Board offered the teachers: 1. Base
salary of 28,250 which is $2,000 in-
crease on current base salary of
$26,250; 2. Sub pay at $100 - board
agreed to request; 3. Flex plan to
$5,900 - board agreed to request; 4.
Fall teacher prep day pay of $150 paid
out on first day of school - board agreed
to request; 5. $3,000 for the extra grade
classroom assignment.

Bus Bid Opening: Bus bids were
opened from Harlows - $74,252.75 for
2014 International bus; and Trucks of
Bismarck for a 2013 Thomas bus -
(80,497. Discussion.
Motion by Bosserman to accept Har-
Iow's low bid of $74,252.75 for the 2014
International IC 41 passenger
Maxxforce bus; motion was seconded
by Maus. Unanimous vote by board
members• Discussion. Board approved
adding another heater to this bus. Maus
with check with Harlow's on cost of
heater.
Transportation Report/Pupil Mem-
bership Report: Motion was made by
Schmitz and second by Sarsland to ap-
prove the 2012-20i3 Lone Tree School
District Pupil Membership and 2012-13
