Friends of Dick Faltermeyer were
soryr that he had to spend last week
in the Olendtve hospital. His sister
MarJorie stayed with him. Dick is
suffering from heart trouble and we
all join in wishing him a speedy re-
covery.
Misses Alvera and Pauline Schade
returned Sunday from a visit with re-
latives in Wisconsin. After a short visit
at the home of their parents south of
town they will resume their work at
George's Cafe and Sutherlands.

to Bloomfield Friday.
Mr, and Mrs. Tom Colton autoed
down from Billings Saturday and spent
Sunday with relatives.

Mr. Mary Scammon entertained her
ne~hbors at a shower last week com-
pllmenting her son Raymond and his
wife. The newlyweds received many
nice gifts and the hostess served a
fine lunch.
Mr. Everett Rogers came from Circle
Friday and was a dinner guests of his
cousin, Billy Meek and family. He also
visited at the Chas Slocomb home near
Beach.
Harey Wassink of Baker and Mr. and
Mrs. Simon Hazelton and Kathleen

MiSs Lois Woods returned to Billings
last week after spending a short va-
ation at the home of her parents here.
Mr. Wm. Sheehan and George Kor-

at the Earl Baker home.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Bryce and son and
Henry Kinsey from the south country
were business visitors in town Wednes-
day.
Another old time John Meyer, age
88, died at Plymouth. Wis. He spent
many years on a farm west of Wibaux
and was liked by all who knew him.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs•
Kahmert of St. Paul. Minn., and a son
John Meyer of Aneta, N.D. Three
grandchildren, Dorothy, Carrol and
Shirley Meyer are in Wibaux and we
extend our sympathy to them.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hammond of
carlyle and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ballard
autoed to Miles City Saturday.
Miss Virginia Bailey was up from
Baker Sunday and visited at the home
of her parents. She returned to con-
tinue her work as superintendent of
the D. V. B. S.
Friends of the Woodhouse family
were happy to hear that Harold, the
eldest son of Mrs. L. A. Woedhouse
was married July ~nd at Red Lodge,
Mont., to Miss Rosa Angluceia. After
a trip through Yellowstone National
Park the young couple wil~ be at home
to their friends on the groom's farm
near Hardin, Mont. We Join their fri-
ends in extending congratulations and
our best wishes for a happy wedded
life.
While here last week Mr. and Mrs.
G. ,N. Baergen and children of Blaine,
Wash., were supper guests of Mr. and
Mrs. C. E. Winkeman south of town,
over night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl
Baker and dinner guests of Dr. and
Mrs. Q E. Keller, They left Wednes-
day afternoon for a short visit at
Bloomfield and expected to get home
