Oscar Lindhe Buys Bar At Medora Of interest to the many friends of Oscar Lindhe is the following item, taken from last week's issue of the Billings County Pioneer of Medora: O. G. Lindhe of Beach, this week bought out the business establishment .~hat for the past 23 years has been operated by George R (Shy) Osterhout. Mr. Lindhe plar~s to have a pool table installed, booths placed in the building formerly used for the grocery store, and conduct a first rate tavern. Mr. Lindhe is by no means a stranger in Medora as he was county auditor of Billings county quite a number of to cultivate the land for food pro- duction. We are now ready to put this type of crop insurance into prac- tice says County Agent Russell. It is possible that farmers in other sections of the county may wish to plant winter wheat but will find it Impossible to attend this meet- ing on account of the distance to travel. The Beach Baseball team hand d the Miles City team a 4 to 0 shutout on the local grounds Sunday afternoon in a game which featured the pitch- ing of Frank Wenzel for the local team. Wenzel was in fine form strik- Ing out 14. allowing six scattered hits and granting only one pass. His best performance came in the sixth inning when two singles and an error filled the bases with no one out. Seeing no bases lying around for runue~ to oc- cupy Frank took care of the situation by striking out the nex~ two batters and forcing the third to send a short fly to Eddie Cater, which he easily gath- e(~ in thus ending the critical situa- tion.
