County Agent Russell says farm-
ers in general are short ef feed and
will have to buy it for their stock
until threshing time. The feed re-
ceived will ease the situation for
those who received it for a while.
But there are as many more farm-
ers in the county who needed a por-
tion of it just as badly as those
who were fortunate enough to get
it. Mr. Russell says four more cars
would have given each farmer in
the county an average of 800
Chairman Menke, of Golden Val-
ley Chapter Red Cross says that he
is greatly indebted to those who as-
sisted him as follows: The corn-
mittee who did the pro-rating:

helping at the cars; County Agent

the letters out so efficiently; and
