Page 14 Golden Valley News May 5, 2011 Bill and Cassie Szudera became parents for the first time when Mila Ann was born on April 8 . Her pxoud grandparents are Steve and Marie Kremers and Ste('e and Diane Szudera. Great-grandmoth- ers from this area are Florence Finneman and Dolores Kremers. Elaine and Brittany Noll flew to Enid. Okla.. Thursday before Easter. They spent Easter with her daughter and family, Heidi and Patrick Currie and daughter. Ashley. Patrick is stationed at Vance AFB, where he is an instruc- for pilot. The' cot a tour of the flight line and also went in the sim- ulator. The returned back home on Tuesday, after Easter. Rick and Tyler Noll spent Easter with Sarah and Chad McCaskey of Dickin son. The Fulton family had a busy weekend. Buzz Fulton. Donna Sygulla and Janice Stcdman had their sister Marlys, her husband Brent Prince and Marlys" daughter- in-law. Crystal. and two grandchil- dren Paul and Cassidy Wright from Wyoming visit. On Saturday. Buzz. his daughter Connie Brown from Forsyth. Mont.. Donna Sygulla and Janice Stedman along with her house guests all drove to Watford City where they attended the wed- ding of Marlys Prince's grand- daughter. On Sunday, they all gath- ered at the home of Buzz Fulton in Beach where other members of Buzz's family and Delbert Stedman's family joined them to enjoy Easter dinner. James and Elaine Kremers enjoyed having family home for Easter. On Saturday their daughters Beth Trester and her daughters Ashlvnn and Lexi: Kristi and Troy Hertz and children Mike and Rachel: and their son Robert and Kavla Kremers and daughter Mia. all from Bismarck. and their daugh- ter Lisa. her husband Henry Gerving and son Matt from Beach all gathered at the Kremers home for dinner. On Sunday the same group gathered at the Gerving home in Beach for Easter dinner. On Wednesday, Joe and Arlys Kreitinger's daughter-in-law Jamie and grandson Elijah from Dickinson arrived to spend a few davs. On Saturday, Jamie's hus- band Scott accompanied his brother John from Dickinson to join his family at their parent's home in Golva. On Sunday. the Joe Kreitinger family. Bernice Kreitinger, and the Jerry, Weinreis family from Golva and the Steve Kreitinger family from Wibaux all gathered at Ken and Ceil Stedman's home for Easter dinner. Bruce Kreitinger joined the group when he stopped to visit on his way back to work at Williston. On Saturdav. Jim Schulte treated his family to lunch at the La Plava restaurant in Beach. Present for the occasion were his son Brant]on from Beach. his son and daughter Kevin and RaeAnn. both home from UND at Grand Forks. his son. daughter-in-law and two grandsons. Derek, Amy, Ethan and Tyler Schuhe from Bismarck. Jim's sis- ter Susan and her husband Jerry Erlenbusch from Circle. Mont.. Lori Howard and Larry and Shirley Schulte of Golva also joined the group Steve and Marie Kremers enter- tained family on Saturday. Steve's mother Dolores Kremers from Beach. his sister Vicky Hardy and her family from Fargo and Marie's mother and sister Florence Finneman and Katy Zinsli from Beach joined the Kremers. their daughters and their families.: Karly and Steve Berger and three chil- dren: Courtney Williams and two daughters from Bismarck. Lindsay, Jay and Aubrey Dykins and Cassie and Bill Szudera and baby daughter Mila all of Beach. Most of the group was meeting little Mila Szudera for the first time. Violet Schmeling's family brought potluck and gathered at the Golden Valley Manor in Beach to share Easter dinner with her in the activity room. The Darrel and Karen Schmeling family and Naomi and Brian Dolyniuk and family were present, Since it is too wet to farm in the fields, they took out a board game and all enjoyed playing "The Farming Game.'" Dean. Lisa and Gabe Wyckoff from Billings, Mont.. arrived at the home of Jim and Marj Wyckoff on Good Friday to spend Easter week- end with family and friends. Rick and Wanda Olson left Good Friday to spend Easter weekend with Wanda's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kraft in Rolette. Their son and daughter, Travis and Lindsay Olson. joined the family that weekend as well. Sally Aberneth visited at the Don and Rella Abernethy home Saturday morning. That afternoon. Barry and Nancy Schafer stopped in for a visit. Jane Cook invited her mother. Mary Cook, and siblings in for Easter dinner on Sunday. Dinner guests included her sister. Judy and Terry Mollendor. Judy's daughter. Marsha and Hunter Davison from Dickinson. brothers Jack Cook. and David Cook from Beach. and cousin Kevin Bakken from Wibaux. Later that iftemoom her brother and wife. Burr and Cheryl Cook. stopped in for a visit. Jim and Marj Wyckoff. Dean, Lisa and Gabe Wyckoff traveled to Dickinson on Easter Sunday for din- ner at the home of Tom and Lynn Wyckoff. and daughter Kaitlynn. Joining them was Lynn's mom, Lois Walker and her uncle, Gus Anderson. Don and Rella Abemethy enjoyed Easter dinner at the home of Bob and Sally Abemethy in Beach. Other din- ner guests included Bonnie Underwood. Larry Kryzsko, Richard and Cecilia Sienz. and John and Ginger Faber. Neal Cook from Las Vegas, Nev., stopped in for a visit Tuesday after- noon at the home of Mary Cook and Judy and Terry Mollendor. Neal drives semi for Knight Trucking, and he was on his way to Williston with a load of decorative rock for the new Watmart. Musgrave qualified for the Boston Marathon at Bismarck last September. Oh. how nice it is. we look forward to doing fun trips in it. We celebrated our Easter party in the afternoon with punch, fruit and bars. We did some trivia and learned which comes first, the chicken or the egg. John Stull gave us the first cor- rect answer. Bey Wolff led us in some hymns and we had Easter readings after singing. Judy Ridenhower, Wendy Ekre and Marlene Muruato did our hair so we were ready for Easter, Norita Kress from Bismarck arrived to spend the weekend with her mother.. Frances. Marlene showed us an Easter movie in the afternoon. Devotions were done by Pastor Andy Lam. Loretta Wyckoff led our Saturday morning exercises. Alice Fiedler from Bismarck. and Harry and Ariel ° Wolski were visitors Saturday. Marc and Denise Kress arrived on Saturday to help Frances and Norita with Frances' house. Norita stayed until Sunday and then returned home. Communion was in the chapel on Sunday morning. Kevin, Kim. McKenzi Plummer and Deb Wilson came to see Pat Plummer. Richard Lynn came to see Kay Jones, and Linda Hutchins came to see Juanita Baird. A special Easter dinner was served to our Manor friends and their guests. Eileen Buchholz spent the day with Dan and Jo: they had Easter dinner at Elaine Zachmann's hofne. Claudia Bakken came to see Mary Job and Florence Miske. Community church was in the chapel in the evening. Monday morning Bible study, was led by Don Brengle. Tuesday, we did exercises and had Adoration in the chapel. Elaine Warner from West Fargo came for the day to visit her friends and have lunch. Chris Moe came in to see Orville. Eighteen students of Madonna Oech's fifth-grade class came for our interviews on Tuesday afternoon. Twelve of us were inter- viewed. They will come back in May and read their interviews to us. Ardyn Mattson came to see Carol Schmeling. Pastor Maxted led devo- tions in the evening. Marlene baked egg cakes for us to decorate for the Volunteer Tea on Thursday.
