whose passing away was briefly men-
tioned in the" News last week, were
helcl April 2nd at the Catholic church
at North Plains, Oregon, his de~th
having taken place Marcia 30th at his
home at Hlllsboro Oregon after a
lingering illness. He was 73 years of
age.

TO DICKINSON CLINIC
Last Saturday seven Golden Valley
county children were taken to Dickin-
son for the free orthopedic clinic held
there that day. About 130 were present
from various Slope counties, and the
children from this county who had at-
tended last year showed fine progress,
which is gratifying indeed. This an-
nual clinic is proving to be a very
v:orthwhl!e project.
