9:00 A. M. March 7th, 1938. Tile
Board of County Commissioners met
pursuant to adjournment with all
members present.
Dr. Lyons appeared before the
Board in the interest of the continu-
ation of con~pensatinn for Mike
Theisen. The Board instructed the
State's Attorney, with the assistance
of Dr. Lyons, to prepare an appli-
cation for additional funds in this
case. to send to the State Compen-
sation Board.
Mr. Longstreth, Executive Secre-
teary of the County Welfare Board,
appeared before the Commlssioners
and asked that additional funds to
cover the State's share, be trans-
ferred to the Welfare Fund for war-
rants issued for relief until such
time as funds are available from the
State.
RESOLUTION
Commissioner Wosepka presented
the following resolution and moved
its adgption:
WHEREAS, G, EldOn Longstreth,
executive secretary of the County
Welfare Board has requisitioned the
county for a transfer of the sum of
$900.00 for the county's 30 percent
share for the months of April, May
and June to the Social Welfare
Fund as an advancement for the
county's share of the expenditures
from the Social Welfare Fund.
And, Whereas. the funds to be al-
located thereto from State and Fed-
eral sources are not immediately
available.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RE-
SOLVED. That the sum of $900.00
be advanced to the Social Welfare
Fund from the County Poor Fund.
The motion was seconded by Com-
missioner Tescher and upon roll call
all members voted "aye." The res-
olution was declared adopted.
12:00 noo~n the Board adjourned.
1:00 P. M. The Board reconvened
with all members present.

other functions, and applied for the
use of It when completed.

this time the matter was deferred
until a later date.
