YOU CAN SAVE
MONEY
You may not be tired of doing all your work with horeaes--or.
your old tractor may still "perk" fairly well . . . BUT as a modern
farmer living in a world of CHANGE, you at least owe it to your-
self to learn the facts about the new TWIN CITY UNIVERSAL
TRACTOR.
IT IS decMedly different in the way it I~erforms---saving you
money on both fuel and lubrication. You don't have to be fixing it
all the time, either.
Also, it is 03eflnitely known to offer farmers the ~ery finest
type of ROW CROP equipment. Come in sometime and Ioek it over
for yourself. It pays to get your work done on time. To do so
means real monkey saveJ.

EVILS
OF
DIVERSION
Gas taxes and license fees, paid by motorists
for highway improvement, are being diverted
to other uses. This is a breach of faith--double
taxation.
Motorists are subject to all oth-.r taxes, and
pay gas taxes and license fec; [n addi'~on for
the specific purpose of building more and bet.
ter roads and arterial streets. I f highway fundi'~!
are put to their proper use they come back to
mctorists in the form of lower csr-opevating
costs.
If these highway funds are diverted to other
u~s--there is not only obvious injustice, but
evll effects felt by the whole public.
Accidents on overcrowded and poorly improved
highways cause death and injury and property
damage. Business suffers from throttled traffic.
Costs of car operation increase. Delays in per-
sonal and merchandise transportation are ex-
pensive.
By stopping diversion of highway funds we can
promote commerce, employ men, prevent
death and injury, save motorists vast sums in
car repairs, tire wear, gas and oil consumption.
As m taxpayer end a Tnoto~iat you should demand,
now, that your motor taxes be used tot roads and
streets and tot nof/~'n~ e/$e.. I~ you don't, Mr.
Motorist, who will~
