shelf,~
And watched with expressions
pained
The jolly milkmaid's stunts,
And they both said at once
"Our relations are getting
strained".

Every now and then someone
tells us "why so and so from
somewhere visited us last week,
and there wasn't anything in the
about It"!
Or perhaps we neglected a
wedding . . . a death . . . or a
club meeting.
