YELLOWSTONE RIVER COMPACT RATIFIED The North Dakota legislature has ratified the Yellowstone river compact setting up a divis- ion of water from that river be- tween North Dakota, Montana and Wyoming. The act has al- ready been ratified by the other two states. Once before a compact was agreed on for the dtvision of Yellowstone water between the ~chree states. The governor of Wyoming, ,however, vetoed the bill when it was brought before ,him for his signature, which was necessacy before it could be ap- proved by congress before be- coming effective. The present compact has the approval of all three governors. WOMAN RECRUITER TO BE IN DICKINSON The W, ac-W,af recruiter, S/Sgt. Avis L. barson, will be in Dick- inson Friday afternoon, March 9th, and Saturday morning, March 10th. She will be located in the USA & USAF recruiting station, post office building, and will interview all girls interest- ed in enlistment in the ~rmy or air force.
