Zoning
(Continued from Page 1)
to return, does so because of the lack
of better paying jobs in their home-
town. Nunberg told the group that it
would be a very good incentive for
the younger people to stay in Beach,
or return home after college, if there
were more such jobs.
Deb Walw0rth of Prairie West De-
velopment, said that everything folks
are concerned with now is currently
going through town. SST is trying to
help solve some of these problems
and establish safety procedures,
while the trains that are currently
traveling through Beach do not do
this, said Walworth.
Resident Vern Tosner also spoke
up. "Hazards were occurring 30 - 40
years ago; homes burning wood and
coal, which also smelled; and steam
trains tl'lt issed through here made
considerable noise. Back then, safety
was not taken into consideration."
The meeting that began at 7 p.m.
lasted until just after 9, with no reso-
lution as yet made. The zoning board
will meet again on Monday, March
17, to decide whether or not to accept
the railport zoning proposal at that
time.

They say that time flies when
you're having fun and that time goes
by faster when you're busy. They also
say that as we get older time passes
more quickly. Well, all three must be
working because it's already March!
Wasn't it Christmas just last week?
That's what it feels like anyway. I
guess we've been pretty busy at the
Manor!
On Thursday, Feb. 13, Mass
