~n addison to the Baker game
here last Thursday, the Beach Bant-
ams won one game and lost one
last week, trimming Belfleld at Bel-
field Friday night 46 to 15 In a lop-
sided contest, and losing here Mon-
day night to the powerful Dickinson
Normal Reserves by two points, 27
to 35. This coming Friday they
play the Sentinel Butte Outlaws in
the first game of a doubleheader In
th~ local gym. The l~eMolays play
the Medora CCC in the second game.
Next Tuesday the Bantams will play
the Sentinel Butte Independents here
and on next Thursday, Feb. 21. they
play Giendive at Glendive. Glendive
returns here to play Feb. 26. This
with the return game here either
Feb, 28 or March 1, completes the
Bantam schedule for the year.
The game last Friday, played on
Belfleld's extremely small foot. was
a bit rough, and during the first
hal~ was played on even terms, the
period ending at ll-all. The Bantams
took complete charge of the game |o
the *second half. however, and scored
almost at will. Every member of the
team who played accounted for at
least six points or more. Ire Thomp-
son le~t the scoring with fifteen
points. Reddy and Doering were
outstanding for Belfleld.
The game Monday night here was
much more interesting, with the Nor-
mal team presenting a slow unhur-
ried attack which the Bantams man-
aged to hold in check most of the
time. The score was close all the
way through the contest, it being 4.
all the first quarter. 14-10 in favor
of the Normal boys at the half, 18-16
in their favor at the end of the
third quarter and 27-25 at the end of
the game.
